At a cross roads....

Heya guys and gals of the blogosphere,  I'm doing it again by that I mean not feeling the love for my blog, The thought of just scrapping the whole thing keeps creeping into my mind. I want to just get rid but at the same time I don't... I know I won't ever reach  perfection in my own mind but i'd like to in my readers minds.
So I've decided to give my blog a re-vamp in the hopes my spark for my blog will begin to fly again, so until then expect a not so amazing looking blog; I'd also like to ask could anyone comment tips for what i could do to make my content well..contain more content? That skill seems to be lacking and showing in my post's they all seem short and un-interesting to me, so any tips will be welcomed.

Thank you for reading.

Try before you buy!

Hiya guys and gals of the blogosphere, being pale can be a pain at times when i can't find a foundation pale enough to match my skin tone, knowing this when i plan a splurge on big brands i try before i buy.
Recently i decided to ask for a sample of YSL touche eclat,  I got my skin matched and they offered a sample of it, My match is BR10 as I've got a pinky undertone.
After a week of trying this I absolutely love it! and would defiantly buy it, it makes my skin all dewy and gives a pore-less effects.
Another product i have sampled lately is Le volume de Chanel mascara, when i first used this i loved it, however after using it the second time i find it clumps your lashes, it does add length but not so much volume,
Maybe it should be called 'Le length de Chanel?' personally i have to use a mascara to separate the lashes then this on top to get the best results and wouldn't pay the money for it as I believethey're are better mascara's without the hefty price tag.

Do you try before you buy?

If i was american& a thrifty find!

Heya guys and gals of the blogosphere, i'm in love with american products that you can't get over here in the UK so i can't seem to try them out, thinking this i decided to do a blog post dedicated to all those products i'd love to try in the future!

1// Watermelon extra gum
I  love anything that tastes or smells like watermelon! so i imagine these would be yummy!

2// Pineapple mango mini candle- bath&body works
I have heard so much about these candles and this is one of the ones i really want! i imagine it'd smell amazing too!

3// Lakeside mini candle- bath&body works
Same applies to the first candle, except this would have a fresher clean smell i'd hope!

4// Kool aid peach&mango
Kool aid seems to be so popular but this flavor I've not came across and would Love to try!
Anything mango i'm mad for.

5// Flower cream eyeshadow- Flirty florett
This is a makeup range by Drew Barrymore, I really hope she brings this over here as i would buy literally everything from the range. The colour of this looks alot like painter-lee from mac with more of a gold shimmer, something i'd love to try and work with.

6//  Mango melon body mist- bath& Body works
If it's mango i want it, i'm guessing it would smell similar to the body shop mango mist but with a more melon smell to it? does anyone know what i'm talking about? no..okay.

7// Hard candy- Glamoflauge heavy duty ultra light
This is a must have and i'm already trying to get hold of it to try, it's supposed to be amazing!
it's a heavy duty concealer and covers EVERYTHING.

8// Watermelon lemonade mini candle- bath&body works
it's watermelon and a candle and from bath&body works do i need to add more?

On to my thrifty find, whilst i was out and about i wandered into a chairty shop and came across this beauty!
It's a chanel ditsy daisy  sort of chain, i paid a pound for this and i'm not too sure if it's real or a replica either way it's beautiful!

Have you found anything interesting in a charity shop lately?

Helen E skin smoother: Review.

Heya guys and gals of the blogosphere, I've never really heard of 'Helen E' cosmetics before so when i saw this 'skin smoother' i decided to give it ago, The Helen E skin smoother blends into every skin colour, their are three shades to chose from to make sure it blends correctly to your skin colour.
At first it looks really dark but once its put onto your face it kind of melts into your skin, and doesn't give the greatest coverage and isn't too buildable,However it is good for people with dry skin as it's quite an oily product. I personally really like this product as a BB cream type of product just for popping the shop or days were my skin needs a break.
Shade- fair
For paler complexions.

Have you tried any Helen E?

MUA: New formula vs old

Heya guys and gals of the blogosphere, MUA have recently came out with new formula's for their lipsticks as well as new shade names, packaging, ect; so which is better the new or old formula?

The first thing i notice about the new Mua is the packaging is made so the lipstick looks like it has more product by making the tube taller, this however doesn't matter to me because their only a pound, so i'm not missing out on much product.

The newer Mua lipstick is more glossy than the older one.

Old formula- Top swatch
New formula- Bottom swatch
From swathing and using both formulas of the lipsticks on the lips it's safe to say the newer version of shade-13 is not as opaque and has a more pinky undertone than the older formula which has the complete red colour to it, this makes the newer lipstick formula more glossy and glides nicely over the lips easily; Unlike the older formula that drags and smudges VERY easily.
Overall i prefer the newer version of the Mua lipstick in this shade, i like the more glossy look than the matt look of the older.

Which do you prefer?

It's the small things that count...

Heya guys and gals of the blogosphere, the sun is shining (don't forget your sunscreen if your pale like me!) Happiness is all around and with flowers not being the only  thing blooming with my friend Hannah from Thegirlwhobakes- and more  recently getting a boyfriend! I thought i'd do a short post on everything that makes me happy!
starting with...

1) My family, I  have a little brother, little sister, a mum and dad and we live all together as one unit, I'm a very lucky to have parents who love and live together and I've had a perfect upbringing so far!

2) My boyfriend I've been with him for a year and 4 months now, and he's like my best friend!

3) My friends although i'm not excautly close with friends i still love them to bits, their fun and happy go lucky people!

4) Music! i don't think i could live my life without music, it would be so boring, any music makes me happy, even opera i appreciate!

5) Me time, just relaxing in a bath or doing my makeup makes me happy!

6) reading books (Geek alert...)

What makes you happy?

Hitting an 'Imagination brick wall.'

Heyya guys and gals of the blogosphere, I haven't been in full swing of blogging lately and i can't explain why..I think i'm having writers block or hitting some imaginary brick wall stopping me from being creative with my blog as nothing i think about posting makes me happy. On-top of this i don't like the way my blogs looks at the moment but i refuse to pay anyone to do it as i want to teach myself to do it, make my blog MY own if that makes sense? I look at other peoples blogs and just think to myself 'give up Amy' because i don't think mine will ever be that good. However, I'm persistent and not going to give up anytime soon.
Does anyone else feel like this? or is it just me? oh and comment below some idea's/ maybe some things you'd like me to post about? whether you think my blog should go more into the lifestyle post's area or whether i should stick to the majority of my blog makeup?
Let me now as any feedback is welcomed!

Life choices & beautiful voices!

Heya guys and gals of the blogosphere,
* Warning This is a a ramble of a post*  as you can probably tell by my title i'm faced with some 'life' choices, which basically means i went to college today to sample the courses i'm interested in i can safely say the college I visited isn't  for me. I have an idea of where i want to go anyway but it doesn't hurt looking around, whilst i was at the college they're was live music played by this amazing band called 'Little Grace' this is an acoustic/ R&B style band made up of 5 boys all with an enormous amount of talent. I'd easily pay good money to see them again, me and all my friends fell in love with the band members voices and i have to say they're all cuties too!
(Image from Little grace UK- twitter)

Check them out;

Sorry that this post was just my love of a boy band but it needed to be shared, i really suggest everyone checks them out they really are so good!

Who's your favorite band at the moment?
