Being body confident...

Heya guys and gals of the blogosphere, today i'm doing a kind of different post because it has came to my attention their are lots of girls/women wanting to lose weight to match up with the media's interpretation of perfect which i'm pretty certain isn't possible. What you look at in magazines are highly edited for the reason 'SEX SELLS'; models in the media are portrayed in a certain way to make you want to buy their products to look like them when in reality you can't because they are themselves and you are you.
One of the most know women classed as a 'sex icon' was Marilyn Monroe, who was a size 14 and is renounced for being beautiful maybe even one of the MOST beautiful women who ever lived, so girls next time you feel down and your self esteem is low just think you are all your own Marilyn.
You are beautiful inside and out, keep smiling.

Who's your female role model?x

Vintage Fair;Review&purchases...

Heya guys and gals of the blogosphere, yesterday i went to a small vintage fair so i decided to give you lovely readers the low down on what i thought about it and what i purchased.[Beware this post will be full of pictures!]
The place this was held is called Kenyon hall farm//Link  inside the building their is a cafe & the farm shop ( Both very over priced.) Outside was green houses and a field to go strawberry/berry picking. The vintage fair was held inside the farms barn which i personally really did like, it added something unique to the fair (bales of hay make a difference in 'Amy's world' you see.)
The fair wasn't excautly 'vintage' it was more a mixture of crafts stalls and a few vintage stalls through in the mix, so i was kind of disappointed; However the stalls that were their i did have a nosy through. All the people selling were friendly that i spoke to and a few i did find intimidating and under some sort of pressure to buy after I've browsed which sadly couldn't happen on every stall i looked at.
Overall i'd say this fair earned a fair (see what i did their...yeah i'm not funny..just stop Amy.) 6/10.

How cute!
Happy birthday to Kenyon hall farm!
This was in the farm shop, I thought it added a vintage touch.

Just the boyfriend being my pack mule.

My Purchases:
I didn't buy alot whilst i was their because well like i said it wasn't overly vintage, but i did pick up some little gems!
I picked up to vintage handcrafted wall plaques/hangings for a pound each. They are the cutest, the goose one reminded me of Percy the goose from the pond over the road from my house (he's adorable) and the heart i just thought would look on my bedroom door; I also picked up a gorgeous bath bomb which just has the nicest, strongest scent. I will do a review on it to see if i like it better than my lush favorites!
Finally, the main reason i wanted to do this post, i picked up a vintage lamp...it's beautiful...very grandma styled i know, but i'll make it work somehow. I was amazed to see this gem was only 3 pound! so i snapped it up with my boyfriend stood watching being very skeptical about what i was going to do with it, other peoples opinions aside, I love it.

Have you thrifted anything lately?

My bath time routine!

Heya guys and gals of the blogosphere, i decided to do a more laid back post on just my everyday bath time routine, with a run through of each product i use, so here goes nothing.

Firstly i run my hot, soapy bath with plenty of bubbles, and hop in! i then usually let myself get used to the hot eater ( i always run my baths to hot!)

I then wash my face to remove any makeup using my peaches and clean cleanser i tend to swap between cleansers alot, but this is one of my favorites because it gets the bulk of my makeup off in one go, i then wash the rest of my makeup off with my effaclar foam face wash just to draw out impurities, this really does work wonders on my skin! Finally i use my St Ives scrub on dry flaky skin on my face just to remove it.
i  then have a happy, healthy, clean face.
Cleaning my body is always the next thing i do, i use my N spa raspberry shower and bath gel and wash away!  after i've done that i scrub away when i need to with my soap and glory sugar crush body scrub.
I must add both products smell AMAZING.

For hair care products i have been loving everything pure that will reduce damaging my hair by washing it too much, so i used the Timotei 'pure' shampoo, which doesn't smell to amazing, it just has a kinda fresh, clean no smell  type of smell (I'm awful at describing) but based on first impressions i really like it, it lathers up really well and my hair feels squeaky clean after use. My conditioner is amazing all aside from the fact if you put to much on it really does make your hair look greasy which so do all conditioners, this conditioner literally melts into your hair and makes it feel super soft which is why i love it.

 Whats your favorite hair product?
